  • Options for converting special characters to HTML entities. "Convert special characters" option converts all special characters with HTML entities except HTML markup characters. When the "Escape markup characters" option is checked, also converts < > & " ' characters. "Edit > Paste Plus > Convert special characters to HTML entities" can be used to make the conversion while pasting text. "Actions Bar > Ch-1 > Tools > TextTools" drop-down can be used to convert the selected text. "Paste Plus" and "TextTools" options on the editor context menu also provide quick access to these options.

  • Ability to easily re-upload files with "File > Upload" option. Also accessible with Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut and "Upload" button on "Actions Bar > Ch-1 > Start." This new feature can be specially useful when editing documents on a laptop since it makes it possible to easily upload documents at Internet hotspots and when other type of Internet connection becomes available. The first time this option is invoked on a document, it displays information on how to attach the current document to a FTP folder. From that point forward, even after closing the document and restarting HTML-Kit Tools, the upload button can be used to quickly upload the document back to the previously selected FTP folder.
  • Button on "Actions Bar > Ch-1 > Start" for saving all modified/unsaved documents.
