In a hurry to upload your changes? See how you can use Ctrl+U to quickly upload the current document.
If you open a document that’s in a FTP folder, you can upload it simply by saving it as usual (Ctrl+S, "File > Save" menu option, "Save" icon, etc.).
But what if your document is on your local computer? You can keep your documents locally and quickly upload them to your FTP server.
There are at least three ways to access the quick upload feature: Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut, "File > Upload" main menu option and the "Upload" icon on the Actions Bar.
To enable this feature:
- Open a local document. Also open the project window with the FTP server that you’d like to use.
- Right click the destination FTP folder and select "Upload current document"
- Click "OK" to accept the default settings, including the "Attach to remote folder" setting
The next time this document is opened, you can press Ctrl+U to quickly upload it back to the same FTP folder.
