Did you know that file versioning and backup is built into HTML-Kit Tools? See how easy it is to restore old files.

With HTML-Kit Tools, it’s not necessary to run a separate server program to keep track of your old files. File versioning and automatic backup is built into HTML-Kit Tools. It’s easy to use and it can even highlight what’s changed since the previous version of a file.

To restore a backup or a previous version:

  1. Open the current version of the file, using "File > Open" or other method.
  2. Select "File > Restore > Restore Previous Version" from the main menu.
  3. Find the file to restore, by date and/or time.
  4. If you’d like to see what’s changed between the current version and a previous version of a file, click "Difference."
  5. Click "Open" to restore a copy of the selected file.
  6. Click "Close" to go back to the editor.

Thank you so much for creating these helpful files! I am motivated, for the first time in ages, to purchase a full version (register) of a free or shared program. Keep up the good work & stay passionate about this excellent tool! Thank you.
