There are many ways to close documents in HTML-Kit Tools. Depending on your preferences, you can use the menu, a keyboard shortcut, a mouse click or a combination of methods.

• Ctrl+F4 keyboard shortcut.
• Custom keyboard shortcut such as Ctrl+W. Select "Tools > Keyboard Shortcuts > Edit > Plugins" and install demoCloseWithCtrlW
• Click [X] on the document tab.
• Click the middle mouse button on the document tab.
• Right click the document tab and select "Close"
• Select "File > Close" from the main menu.
• Ctrl+Shift+F4 keyboard shortcut for closing projects and associated files.
• [X] on the right hand corner of the document tab.
• Select "Close" from the drop-down menu on the "Open" icon (green icons on the left hand corner).
• Add a custom close action to the right click menu.
