- Ability to set pass-through preview URL for local, network and remote folders in projects. This makes it easier to preview scripts and other files through a web server, regardless of whether the document is in a local folder or a remote folder. To set the preview base URL, go to the edit dialog for a project folder and set "Base URL for Preview" on the "Preview" tab.

- Additional options for creating advanced split lists on "(editor right click) > TextTools > OL/UL"

- "Start Dialog" for viewing information usually found on the Start Window as a dialog. Start Dialog can be resized separately from the Start Window, making it easier to view long file and folder names.

- When on the "Preview" tab, displays the final URL of the preview. This simplifies troubleshooting absolute/relative path issues and other preview path related problems. When previewing through a web server, displays the full URL including the base URL of the web server.

- When on the "Tidy" tab, displays "Tidy suggestions for …" as a reminder that suggestions are made by HTML Tidy, rather than the original document, is being displayed.

- Improved text rendering on dialogs and windows when running under Windows Vista and Windows 7.

- Slightly more spacious project windows make it easier to view more of file/folder names.

- Faster loading "Recent Files" list on File menu and the Actions Bar. Most noticeable when working with files on network drives.

- Reorganized dialogs for adding and editing project folders to simplify the interface. Fields are categorized into tabs.

- Dialogs used to add/edit project folders (local, network and remote) can remember their default values. Add dialogs and edit dialogs can remember values separately, to make it possible to set different defaults.

- Internal Gecko/Firefox preview can use Firefox 3.5.x in addition to XULRunner.

- Setup program improvements, including better drop-down list and help pages.

- Support for profiles on "Kit > Start Window." To enable this option, select profiles from "Additional Sections" and maximize it.

- "Templates" section in the Start Window for quickly creating documents without going through Ctrl+N.

- Preferences dialog setting: setting under "Advanced" for showing a status bar reminder to manually check for updates. This is only a reminder and doesn't automatically check for updates.

- Start Window sections for recent projects, folders and files default to single columns for improved readability.
