If you’re seeing temporary files when working in HTML-Kit 292, don’t worry… it’s normal and these are, well, temporary files.

One of the conveniences in HTML-Kit 292 is the ability to quickly preview documents without having to save or open in browsers. In order to do this, 292 may have to create temporary files from time to time specially if you preview a document without saving it first.

These temporary files are automatically removed after a period of inactivity or when you close HTML-Kit. In rare case, if any temporary file is not removed on exit (this can happen if that file is still in use by a browser or other application) it’ll be removed the next time you start HTML-Kit 292.

In summary, it’s not necessary to manually remove temporary files created during preview. However, if you prefer not to see these temporay files you can set "Save document before previewing" option under "Edit | Preferences | Preview."
