    Chami,
Have you provided a way during edit of a local PHP or SHTML file from
the xampp/htdocs folder to execute, the PHP and SSI, on HK Tools
Preview? Or, by some other direct way from Tools?

I hope that is an understandable question. I thought it was an easy
question until I started to write it.

      Hi Charles,

Yes, you can get HTML-Kit Tools to preview through a local (or remote)
      web server.

Start with adding the local htdocs folder to a project. The "Add Local
Folder" dialog has a Preview tab and there you can enter the base URL
for your XAMPP server in "Base URL for Preview." Click OK.

Double click a file in hotdocs folder in the project window, and click
Preview (F12). You should see the preview of that file coming from your
local web server. If not, look at the status bar and make sure that the
      base URL is correctly mapped.

Let me know how it goes.

Got it to work! Was not easy, my head is sorta dense today. But I
finally made it. I really have a messed up "Projects", I may just
eliminate all and start over. Would be best if I could just delete some
of the mistakes that I have made. Will see about that later today.

But I do have it working and that is the main thing right now. I
thought you would have already anticipated this and had a handy solution.

        Thanks Chami,

        Charles

Woohoo! That option is kinda hidden away, partly because it's
          server/folder-specific.

Also, don't forget that you can keep multiple project windows in
HTML-Kit Tools. HTML-Kit 292 could only have a single workspace window.
So if it makes sense, you can split your work into multiple projects.
