Using recently modified Graphics recently modified in PSP

Ok, I open HTML-KIT TOOLS and edit a recent document. Then I open Paint Shop Pro 7 (PSP) and create a graphic which is saved to the same folder as the document I just opened in TOOLS. I add code <img src="test.jpg"> at the bottom (could be anyplace in the document) and PREVIEW.

The graphic appears OK. Now, as PSP is still open I change/add some text in the graphic and SAVE it.

Go back to TOOLS, Preview, and the old version of the graphic appears, not the modified one which was just saved (to the same folder as the edited document).

If I shut down TOOLS and re-start it, edit the document the modified graphic appears.

I would think that TOOLS code would pick up the modified document without having to be shut down and re-opened.

Is this the way TOOLS works? Or what could be the problem?

Foe what it's worth and to confirm a similar problem for Chami, I've
seen that problem on occasion. (I modify an image, resave it, go from
edit window to preview and the unmodified image is still there.) But in
my case If I returned to the edit window then reopened the preview
window a second time, the modified image appeared. I haven't had to
      restart the program.

Really? Well, I guess it is just my OS, Paint Shop Pro, or the "luck-of-the-draw". Just seems odd as opening the preview screen a 2nd time doesn't update the image on display ... and a pain where I am sitting down. Fortunately, I don't have to modify an image when make web pages but there are times when I re-do a screen capture, save as original image name and can't tell if it actually works in TOOLS. Oh, well, we learn to live with what is thrown our way.

Not your OS, not PSP. I've similar things to happen. Click the tab to
Preview and then follow with Active Preview. This time your changed
image will probably appear. Then you can click Active Preview again to
close and from then on the changed image will appear correctly on Preview.
