    Hi Chami and others
I am thinking about buying a tablet for when I am on the go and am thinking about what I need to be able to do while I am away, and the possibility to update website files and FTP-ing are a must.
Is that possible at all with a tablet or will this only work with a laptop?
[I am looking at getting an android tablet]

Well, done a bit of homework since and there seem to be HTML editors for Androids out there, see
      https://play.google.com/store/search?q=html+editor&c=apps

Shame that I do not seem to be able to use HTML-Kit tools on the go, unless I buy a Windows tablet, but that is not worth it for me, for the limited use I'd have for it. Still love my "real" computer ...

I was just about to reply with basically the same info. Regardless of
the type of tablet, I'd seriously consider getting a keyboard for doing
any serious editing. Onscreen keyboards work great for replying to email
and making small changes, but at least in my case they just don't work
for editing code. Then again, you might have a different experience and
you could always add a bluetooth keyboard later on.

HTML-Kit works great on Windows 8 tablets like Surface Pro that come
with a physical keyboard. Too expensive for me though unless it's time
        to replace a laptop.
