Just got version 20121101 but I click on the Spelling icon and nothing happens. I position the cursor at the top of the file after putting a mis-spelled word near the bottom and nothing happens. I tried looking in the Guide and it was of no help. So, what is the "secret" to having spell-check?

      Hi,

Instead of bundling its own spell checker language files, HTML-Kit Tools
uses language packs included in programs like Firefox and OpenOffice.
This also gives you access to a wider number of seasoned word lists. If
you install Firefox and reopen HTML-Kit Tools, the spell checker will
pop up like this (shown with Luca's Italian translation but you get the
      idea) :

      Hope this helps.

Ok, that worked. Odd that this procedure wouldn't be in the Guide. Oh, well, can't have everything I guess.

          Cool!

HTML-Kit documentation unfortunately has always been crappy (I can say
this because I write the "official" guide).

You can however search on http://www.html-kit.com/forums/ and
          http://www.htmlkit.com/tools/ to discover most functions.

I already have both Firefox and OpenOffice installed, but still don't get the spelling to work.
Admittedly, both were installed before HTML-Kit. (Just the way reinstallation worked out).
According to the Tools|Proofing options, the English-US dictionary is already installed, and the only dictionary I can see to install is Dutch.
It's only when I go to use Ctrl+F7, check current word, that anything admits there is a problem. The message is: Could not find the files to run the spelling checker (i450). Would you like to view more information about this on the HTML-Kit website? Selecting Yes opens a browser window with a 404 error.
I think this whole area needs looking at, but for now would just like to spellcheck the new pages for my web site :)
Any other ideas to get this working?

Just found that Spellcheck was not installed in Firefox. Ctrl+Shift+A brings up the AddOns page, search for spellcheck and install the one you want. (No UK English unfortunately).
