    build 2013819
    preliminary report
Sometimes, for no observable reason, typing [ results in nothing
and ] results in jumping to the next tag.
typing ctrl-M returns the behavior to normal.

It seems to happen after I mis-type something on the lower right
    part of my keyboard.

more to follow if I figure it out.

      Hi Bill,

The latest builds have Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+] shortcuts for moving through tags.

Are you sure that the Ctrl key isn't inadvertently pressed down when
this is happening? I know sometimes my palm rests on the Ctrl key.

Pierre-Yves also reported an issue related to these shortcuts on French
keyboards. So maybe there's a problem, though these shortcuts are
      working fine for me.

        Yes, I am sure.
When this happens, the [ does nothing and the ] does go to the
prior tag. (of course I don't have a lot of tags in my code so it
is possible that there was no later tag.)

But, it is stable when no ctrl key is pressed. I don't know how
to make it happen, but it has happened twice.

Don't worry about this and don't let it interfere with sleep.

I really want to tackle this so removing these two shortcuts is
preferable to having any doubt at all. TreeHouse build 20131101 does
some extra checking for OEM keyboard codes so let's see if that was the
          issue.

will download the treehouse, but, as I don't know how to make it
            fail...

Ha ha! Well, since Pierre had a reproducible case on a French keyboard,
his guidance may help summon the elephant.
