    Hello,

When i shut down the htmlkit Tools and when i want to open it again the kit doesn't open again. I have to go the task manager to shut down the kit.

      Hi Kelly,

If you're not using the latest (build 20131020 or later as of this
posting), please try upgrading and let me know if you continue to have
      the same issue.

The recent builds have gone through several optimizations which should
improve startup speed. Also note that if you need to close and
immediately restart Tools, "Kit menu (top right-hand corner) > Restart"
      can do it for you.

I have installed the latest version already.
I know that i can use the restart in the menu on the right side but that is not the problem.

My htmlkit tools doesn't shut down properly.

When i shut down and i need the kit again after several hours then i need to schut it down in the task manager before i can startup the kit again.

Yes that's definitely abnormal! I was thinking in seconds.

So is there anything special about your configuration? Which version of
Windows are you running? Are you using projects with FTP folders? Any
detail that you think might be related since HTML-Kit by itself simply
shouldn't take that long to close.

I have no idea because i use the kit for 2 days now and the problem was there in the beginning.
I didn't change anything in the configuration.

            I'm working with windows 8.1.

I'm also running it on 64-bit Windows 8.1 without issues.

              Please try this:

              Does this make any difference?

                No it doesn't.

I have reinstalled the program and that doesn't help either.

I have no idea what the problem is.

It's difficult for me to troubleshoot this without more information
about the system and what other programs might be running. If you'd
like, we could do a remote session through a program like TeamViewer
(www.teamviewer.com) and try to figure it out. If you're comfortable
doing this, please drop me an email (www.htmlkit.com/contact/) with a
                  convenient time for you.
