I have been using HTML Kit for many years, and generally it is good and I have developed workarounds for the various problems.

I decided I would upgrade and have downloaded the latest HTML Kit Tools. The first problem I tried is still there, if I am editing a document and have scrolled the preview down to where I am editing, each time the preview is refreshed it reverts to the top.

But ... a new issue ... I start typing some code in, pause, and preview updates ... but focus seems to stay with preview so I have to click on editing to start typing again. This was not the case in HTML Kit. I tried the Ctrl 8 preview and also the active preview.

Active Preview Window (classic mode) seems to return focus to the edit window...

      Hi Ken,

Thank you for using and supporting HTML-Kit!

In general, these things should work unless something else is going on
(like JS grabbing focus, etc.). Here's a video of previewing in HTML-Kit
      Tools
and how it maintains preview position and staying in the editor:

      http://www.htmlkit.com/go/youtube/hkt-preview-in-landscape-mode

After you preview a page for the first time, click inside the preview
window and move it to the desired location. It should now maintain that
position while you edit. Let me know if this doesn't help.

On a side note, please note that support.htmlkit.com might be easier to
use than this deprecated web interface.

        Thanks for the reply.

Active Preview (landscape mode) and Active Preview Window (classic mode) both work. I was just using Ctrl F8 which I have used for years. Will put a note on screen to remind me to use Ctrl F12!!!

Will use support.htmlkit.com in future - I think I just used the forum link on your website.

That's my bad. I hadn't updated the support forum link in User
          Assistant... until today :)
