    When writing some php-code,

$leeftijd_piet) { echo "Jan is ouder dan Piet"; } else { echo "Jan is jonger dan Piet" } ?>

and running it in a browser all goes well, the output says:

    Jan is ouder dan Piet

    which is correct.

Using the preview option in html-kit it is not showing the output that
    the browser shows, but

$leeftijd_piet) {echo "Jan is ouder dan Piet";} else {echo "Jan is jonger dan Piet";} ?>

I'm a "newbie" , and do not understand this.

My HTML-Kit Tools version is 20150320

      Hi Jan,

It sounds like the browser is going through a server for interpreting
PHP scripts. You can verify this by looking at the URL. And you can do
the same within HTML-Kit by using "View > Preview > Preview server-side
      script".

Don't hesitate to post again if this doesn't help. Also please note that
the support forum has moved to https://support.htmlkit.com
