I've owned HTML KIT since the 292 version and was always under the impression that I was entitled to free updates for life. However, I'm trying to dl the newest version and I'm being sent to the "BUY IT" page.
Am I not entitled to the newer version?
Can somebody clarify this for me?
I tried to contact HTML KIT via email, but their email server returned my email stating that there is no such email. So now I resorting to the forum for clarification.
I've even followed the advice to re-enter my original email address along with my activation code and that does not work.
Why do I have to pay for an updated version? I've always been able to get the Beta's and the latest HTML KIT Tools, so why am I being asked to pay for the newest version?
I boast about HTML KIT to everyone that I know who codes. I turned on my web design teacher too it and she loves it. Come on guys, throw me a bone!
Every piece of code that I've coded since 2004 has been done solely on HTML KIT. I have literally coded and recoded thousands of pages of code with HTML KIT. My website, Kids IQ Test Center which has around 400 pages was coded with HTML KIT and I update my pages at least 3 times per year. So let's do the math:
400x3 equals 1200 pages per year. And 10 years of updates comes to approximately 12,000 pages that have been coded exclusively with HTML KIT. Moreover, I'm not counting other websites that I've created since then.
Can anyone clarify this for me? Do I have to pay for the newest version or am I entitled to the newest version? If I am, tell me how to get it. If not, I guess I'll have to fork over some money or try a different HTML editor.
