KT works fine - operator a dunce

i was the problem. when windows began crashing, i moved all my data to the E drive (while i still could), including my Development folder, which contained my html doc's.

after i realized that i could run KT while in safe mode, i started html'ing again. but i found it inconvenient to have to keep referring to that other drive, so i made a copy and put it back on my problem computer's HD.

but what i just realized a half hour ago (while mulling over your comments about my problem), was that it might be exactly what dave & chami said right away - the images are not in the folder that KT is looking in. that's when i remembered doing the move and copy back routine. so i fired up the computer, and sure enough, KT was still aimed at the E drive Development folder, not the C drive. i had completely forgotten about that. i was looking at the files on the C drive, and it was looking in the E drive.

anyway, as embarrassing as it is to admit to, i confess to being a dunce, and i am sorry that i wasted your time. i hope that there are no hard feelings.

No time wasted (most of us here enjoy solving problems) and definitely
      no hard feelings!

Glad you were able to get it working.

I'm glad you got it sorted out. No time was wasted here.

Please don't think you are the only one who has done that. Been there,
done that myself. Glad you discovered the problem.
