    Hi,

Home someone will help me with a small problem.

From time to time I somehow activate/set an arrow and I have no idea how to disable it again.
What is this used for? How to set and remove it?

      Hi Kenneth,

It's an indicator for a bookmark (needs a better icon!).

You can toggle them by going to the line in question and pressing
Ctrl+F2. And "View > Bookmarks ... > Clear bookmarks" can be used to
      remove all bookmarks.

Hope this helps and thanks for the screenshot.

Those arrows are bookmarks. You can easily skip between them with F2
and Shift-F2. You can see all the bookmark commands on the menu that
comes up when you hover over the "Bookmarks and Marks" menu item in the
      Edit menu.

You can also create and remove bookmarks by clicking on the line numbers
on the left edge of the edit window.
