Suddenly can't upload to any of the ftp sites I have defined. My connection is good, as my FileZilla works on all my sites.

Was working until I restarted HTML Kit and noticed a message at the bottom saying there was an uninstalled update. I thougth I was current but clicked it anyway. After a minute it was back and then I could do any ftp.

My version is 20121101. Everything was just fine until 10 minutes ago.

      Hi,

It's unlikely that the update itself is the issue here. I've been using
FTP in the latest update without a problem. If you have firewall or
proxy software, please make sure that they're allowing HTML-Kit Tools to
connect to FTP servers. Some firewalls reset these settings when you
      update programs.

Let me know if you continue to have any problems.

I don't know that an update occurred. I still have the same version number. From last November.

As I said - my system was working fine until this phantom update occurred. I haven't altered my A/V nor firewall so I don't think that's the problem. The message I get when I try to access a network folder is:

        Could not establish FTP connection.

Could not connect to the FTP server.

Have re-installed the latest version, re-booted, re-entered the credentials for one of the network folders - nothing helped.

        Really odd behavior......

Well, this is stranger. Yesterday when this occurred, I did a reboot. Didn't solve the problem.

But today, a second reboot solve the problem. And I know I didn't change a thing.

          oh, well.....

"Could not establish FTP connection" message that you saw the other day
usually pops up when FTP access is blocked. Certainly not the only
            reason but the most common.

In any event, I'm glad that FTP is back up and running for you. Please
post again if anything else comes up.
