    Hi

Is “Encode/Decode Image to data:URL” (Shift+Ctrl+I) included in Emmet for HTML-Kit Tools, Pressing Shift+Ctrl+I brings up insert snippet dialogue. I would love to see this implemented it would be so useful.

      Hi,

Though it's not using Emmet, you can use the Image Picker to insert
      images as data URIs:

      Image Picker:

I'll add support for decoding data URIs back to files as well.

Shift+Ctrl+I is a shortcut that goes back to HTML-Kit 292 so that's not
likely to change :) but I'll add other shortcuts for inserting data URIs.

Holding Shift while picking an image in image picker Treehouse 20130802 inserts a normal img tag for me.

How big is the image though? Try it with a smaller image and it should work.

There are size limits for data URIs related to browser compatibility and
higher bandwidth usage, so the Image Picker defaults to regular files
          for large images.
