Can html-kit 292 (which I have had and used for a long time) and the Tools version (which I recently installed) co-exist? If so, how do I instruct Windows to use the Tools version for Edit of html and xhtml xml, etc files?

Yes, HTML-Kit 292 and HTML-Kit Tools can definitely coexist. Tools was
designed to allow this from the beginning.

As far as configuring default file types goes, "Tools > External
Programs > System Integration Center" menu option is what you're looking
      for.

      Hope this helps!

Thanks, I knew it had to be somewhere in the menu. Just needed the road map.
