How do I download HTML-Kit Tools and other extras?

1. Register HTML-Kit.
    
   Registrations help keep free versions of HTML-Kit, provide tech support, create tutorials, further develop HTML-Kit, and pay for other maintenance.
    
2. Create a login in the HTML-Kit User Assistant, with your name and email used on the registration order. You can choose your own login ID and password.
    
   Please note: The login email has to match the email used on the order form for registering HTML-Kit to be able to access extra downloads.
    
3. When you get the registration confirmation email, go to the "Downloads" section to download HTML-Kit Tools and other extras. If any of the setup programs requires a password, it'll be displayed near the top of the page.

I can login to the User Assistant. Does this mean I'm registered?

Please note that creating a login in the User Assistant is not the same as registering HTML-Kit. You can create a free login for posting on support forums, keeping a list of plugins, and for using other free HTML-Kit services. The extra downloads become available after you register HTML-Kit.

I've registered HTML-Kit. How do I login to download the extras?

If you haven't done so already, please create a login in the User Assistant. You can choose your own login ID and password. However, be sure to use the same name and the email address that was used on the registration order form. Otherwise the User Assistant won't be able to find your registration. In most cases your registration will be active within minutes of the order but please allow up to 24 hours from the time you place the order.

I don't see links to the extra downloads

If you don't see links in the "Downloads" section after registering HTML-Kit and creating a login, please make sure that the name and the email address used to create your HTML-Kit User Assistant login match the name and the email used on the order form for registering HTML-Kit. You can change the email address under "Options" if necessary. If you're not sure which email was used to create the login, "Forgot the ID" option can be used to verify the email.

Do I have to register to use the User Assistant?

As a HTML-Kit user you can use the User Assistant for free without registering. You can use it to post questions on support forums, manage plugins and access other free HTML-Kit services. If you decide to register at a later time, you'll be able to use the User Assistant to access extra downloads as well.
